💀someone once blamed me (vet reception) for them being late…. 2 hours late… and it was my fault. They showed me the email I sent with the correct time and tried to use that as proof

We always call if we even THINK that we might be late, specially since most of our appointments are an hour drive. Our doctors have all been very understanding, for which we’re really grateful.

if you're gonna be that late call and let them know? was running late to an appointment so I called the vet and told them so, they swapped my appointment with a later one who was already at the clinic

I always try to be early to my appointments the few times I was running late immediately called vet to let em know I was on way and if still good or if too busy

So when the doctor is 45 minutes late for my appointment time it’s no problem though. Patient should get a credit or doctor covers copay.

This is 100% understandable, as long as it goes both ways. If my appt is at 10, I shouldn't have to wait an hour to be seen.

I feel so bad even being 5 minutes late. I actually called while in stopped construction traffic and was fully prepared to be rescheduled. I could never have this level of audacity.

3rd option… tell her to drop off, docs get to it when they can and she has to come back later and pick the pup up. Very common, and at least dog still gets care.
