This was one of those questions I thought had a SUPER simple answer. 12 weeks? Until goal? Cycle on and off? Forever? 😂 Then I started researching it in the Stackr app and realized… There really isn’t one universal “cycle.” It is still being studied, and the clinical trials aren’t built around the whole “run it for 12 weeks, take 4 weeks off, then start another cycle” idea you see all over social media. And that changed how I thought about it. It also has a long half-life, so stopping doesn’t mean it’s suddenly out of your system the next week. That’s one reason I like seeing my estimated active levels in Stackr app instead of thinking of Reta as ON → OFF → ON again. And what happens after reaching your goal is a completely different conversation from: “Okay, my 12 weeks are up. Time to cycle off.” So what’s the answer? There isn’t a magic number of weeks that applies to everybody. And I would definitely not build my plan around a random cycle I saw on TikTok. 😂🌶️
