@docnafiakhan: It was an interesting day! Basically google maps is pretty shit in Nicosia! It takes you in these tiny little streets and youre just stuck going around in cricles. There’s definitely a difference on both sides of the border. There was a strange feeling, i couldnt really put my finger on, in nicosia. It was also pretty strange how it was busy on the roads but then youd hardly find anyone walking outside, or at the market or even at the restaurants. We couldnt really find a nice place to eat so we had to settle for some doner kebab. But the doner kebab was way different than what you get in the uk, it’s actually quiet flavoursome! There were quiet alot of south asians, especially pushtuns, which was nice to see. I think we could’ve definitely have visited more places but we lost most time on being lost and going in circles!
