The bachlund heel turn was genuinely one of the best ever, and his candle faded so damn fast. Over immediately after winning the belt in an insanely dramatic match.

I wrestled in Connecticut in the early 80’s and he would show up to high school matches. I remember him being at my match at Glastonbury and the state tournament.
