@theadventurerguy: Best camping spot in Yosemite🏞️⤵️ This us Upper Cathedral Lakes in Yosemite National Park 📍 Out of all the places I have been, this is by far the best one! This place is absolutely stunning and I feel privileged to be able to camp here 🤩❤️ The hike is 9.5 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 1700 feet. It starts from the Cathedral Lakes Trailhead right on Tioga Road. Theres plenty of parking but make sure to get there early specially on weekends 🥾🅿️ To be able to camp here you need a wilderness permit which you can find at www.recreation.gov 📝📃 If you are just getting started with backpacking I highly recommend to rent the gear since it can be very expensive. You should be able to rent it at your local outdoor store like @REI ⛺️🎒 Always download maps while hiking or doing any activities in the backcountry.
