Today’s kitchen: Chicken bastilla roll | This dish is known for its unique combination of textures and flavors! ❤️ CHICKEN FILLING ▫️50 ml olive oil ▫️1550 gr chicken (1250 g boneless, skinless) ▫️4 gr turmeric ▫️3 gr ras el hanout  ▫️3 gr ginger powder ▫️2 gr black pepper ▫️1.5 gr cinnamon powder ▫️1 chicken bouillon cube ▫️3 gr salt ▫️5 gr garlic powder ▫️2 bay leaves ▫️500 ml water ▫️20 gr fresh coriander ▫️20 gr fresh parsley ▫️550 gr yellow onions ▫️50 gr rice noodles DOUGH ▫️250 gr flour ▫️135 ml water ▫️4,5 gr salt Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken, turmeric, ras el hanout, ginger powder, black pepper, cinnamon powder, chicken bouillon cube, salt, garlic powder, bay leaves, coriander, parsley, and yellow onions. Cook for 2 minutes. Add the hot water and bring to a boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45-60 minutes. In a deep bowl, mix the flour, water, and salt. Knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes. Carefully remove the chicken from the pan and place it in a deep bowl to cool. Once cool, shred the chicken. Continue cooking the sauce and add the rice noodles. Cook until the noodles are tender. Add the shredded chicken and mix well. Let the mixture cool completely. Divide the dough into 3 pieces and form them into balls. Place the dough on a greased work surface (using sunflower oil) and press it down slightly. Let it rest for 10 minutes (covered). Grease the work surface with sunflower oil (10 ml). Place the dough on the surface. Using your fingertips, gently spread the dough from the center outwards into a thin, circular shape that measures 35 by 40 cm. Grease your hands as needed to make the process easier. Brush the dough with butter (optional). Spread the chicken mixture over the dough. Fold the sides of the thin dough inwards and roll them up. Repeat the process.  Place the filled chicken bastilla bread on the baking sheet and brush with the butter mixture (you can also brush with egg yolk).
