@celebrity.death.s: The jumper who leaped to his death from a luxury hotel in Midtown this week is believed to be the wealthy co-founder of the pandemic-plagued movie ticket firm Fandango, sources and cops said. J. Michael Cline — a 64-year-old “serial entrepreneur” and father of six with a home in Greenwich, Connecticut — plunged from the 20th floor of The Kimberly Hotel and landed in a third-floor courtyard Tuesday morning, according to law enforcement sources. Cline, who was also a managing partner at the startup-funding firm Accretive, left an apparent suicide note before jumping from the building on East 50th Street near Lexington Avenue, #fandango #movie
I always wonder if if if it’s the financial failure, or if there’s something that’s about to be exposed.

This is extremely sad. His family must be devastated and wish they could have helped him I’m sure. Once you have success failure for some isn’t an option.

why do some report it like Fandango struggling from covid had something to do with it? he sold fandango to comcast and later left in 2011.

people can appear to have it all and yet be struggling on the inside. call the suicide hotline if you need help. Condolences to his family. Cold and heartless remarks are despicable.

It’s so hard to say why but many successful people feel ashamed admitting mental health issues and asking for help. Maybe he was just experiencing a mental illness? #deconstructthestigma

Some of these comments suck. Wealthy people get sad & depressed just like everyone else. Sometimes money can’t change that
