As someone that Dashes on the side for fun money, I just won’t accept the no tip orders. Lol. Doing something like this just to run the risk of losing the ability to deliver is silly.

Well yeah. DoorDash only offers something like $2 to deliver orders so you need to tip to entice someone into taking your order. When you don’t tip your food waits around for a long time&bad service

they can’t see how much you tip until they complete the order, they only see the total income. so say doordash pays $3 and you tip $3, they only see $6 not how much each is putting in until afterwards

I tipped the max auto recommended amount it gave me, and the guy was pounding on my door and demanded I give him more tip. I live alone and was TERRIFIED. Haven’t been on DoorDash since.

Im a dasher and when I can't find the house (GPS sucks sometimes) I always call the customer and ask for help. I wanna make sure you get your food. 🥺

A higher tip will get you a higher rated dasher so you get better service and food faster

For anyone saying u get what u pay for, I’m a dasher and I never do this, we literally get to see how much we’ll get paid before hand and we have the choice to decline an order if we feel it’s too low

They need to just pay the drivers a livable wage cause DoorDash is way too expensive anymore for me to even think about a tip a meal for myself is like $30 and I still haven’t even put a tip on it 😭

for the ppl saying dashers shouldn't know if they get tipped till the end: some of the drivers have to drive 8-10+ miles for every 2 orders they get that they only get paid like $3-6 for lol

Also you should tip aftee the service is done. I once tipped 20% and the driver sat in a park (I saw location) for 45 min before bringing my food. It took 1.5 hr for my food to come and it was ice col
