Nooo don’t use blue tape under the tile!! It’s going to “melt” onto the tile and take forever to pull up. If you really want to protect the floors try contact paper or something

Or you could buy a jug of peel n stick tile adhesive from Home Depot. I’m going on 6 years with my kitchen still looking perfect. Not one tiny bubble or raised tile

I got the same black tiles and they haven’t held up great. The beige ones I got worked wonderfully but the back ones scratch easily and lift in the corners. Super bummer.
