Why not cook the minute rice and sausage separately, then mix in the rest of the ingredients and bake until bubbly? Otherwise use regular rice. This is unnecessarily long.

So I actually made this today. Exactly as explained. Once done, I had to add almost a whole other bottle of chicken broth/stock because it was so dry. Flavor is good though. Probably won’t make again
