@lalisalein: What does it mean to be a „big size“ model in Korea? People usually assume it’s about the height. But I am only 161cm tall. Also it’s not about my weight because I am clearly not „plus size“ when you look at me. Usually it means that you wear / you have to wear bigger sizes ( sometimes L to XL ) depending how the sizing is. It’s about the measurements. Usually Korean models have a smaller frame and a different built than white people. So it’s normal for me to wear bigger sizes. Because my hip measurements are usually between 94-97cm I have to wear Large a lot. Most Koreans tend to have a smaller frame. But!! I also fit “one size” most of the time because the fit is usually wider or you have a stretchy fabric or a lot of elastic waist bands. Just because I wear a “bigger size” when I model, doesn’t mean people consider me big or obese. Korea also has all kinds of people and you will definitely find clothes your size.
