I’ve teamed up with @docband to spread awareness about plagiocephaly and provide resources to parents. When Paul was born, I noticed a flat spot forming (plagiocephaly) on his head. I didn’t have the resources and information I needed to get him help early on, so I’m on a mission to help parents receive the information that I didn’t. ➡️ As many as 1 in 2 babies are estimated to have some degree of plagiocephaly. When you notice flatness, it’s important that you take action early. Like I always say, education is power and early intervention exists for a reason- so let’s use it. Reach out to pediatric professionals near you (PT, OT, CST) and gather information about your baby’s development. You can receive a free head shape screening at a Cranial Technologies near you.
