@mamasandpapasuk: Ready, set… a better night sleep! 💤 Our resident Sleep Expert, Imogen, is here to offer her guidance on what to dress baby in for comfortable and safe sleep no matter the temperature 🌙 #LetsTalkSleep 🏠 Ideal Room Temperature: 16-20°C TOG Rating: Thermal Overall Grade; the higher the TOG, the warmer it is. For warmer months, choose a lighter TOG. Everyone regulates temperature differently, some babies run warmer or cooler than others but here are some general recommendations for helping your baby be comfortable in the heat 🛏️ General Tips: Use a room thermometer to monitor temperature. Feel your baby's neck or cheeks to ensure they aren't too warm. Little babies should generally be in one more layer than adults. 👶 Dressing Guide by Temperature: Less than 14°C: 2.5 TOG dreampod, long-sleeve sleepsuit, long-sleeve vest and nappy (add socks if needed during the night, but never a hat). 15-16°C: 2.5 TOG dreampod, long-sleeve sleepsuit, sleeveless vest and nappy. 17-18°C: 2.5 TOG dreampod, baby grow OR long-sleeve vest and nappy. 19-21°C: 1/0.5 TOG dreampod, long-sleeve sleepsuit, sleeveless vest and nappy. 22-23°C: 0.5 TOG dreampod, long-sleeve sleepsuit and nappy. 24°C: Sleepsuit vest and nappy. 25°C: Sleepsuit & nappy OR long-sleeved vest & nappy. 26°C+: Sleeveless vest & nappy OR nappy only.
