As far as I know only Australia does like that. For he rest of the world the dates are based on solstice and equinox which also marks the beginning and end of the harvest.

Yep 1st of March is autumn, 1st of June Winter, 1st September spring and 1st December summer.

School runs on calendar year, seasons start first of the month, we use metric and it’s day/month/year. Anything else is just living in hard mode 😂

I’m from the Nordics. Seasons don’t have start or ending dates. Seasons are the weathers, not months.

I think official in Norway the seasons are like this: Spring: march, April and may. Summer: June, July and August. Fall: September, October and November. Winter: December, January and February.

well Melbourne goes by its own time when it wants so there 🤪 I think so far we are winter at night and autumn during the day with a splash of summer on the left and spring on the right

Wait til they find out we also have an unofficial start to summer, Halloween starts end of august just cause we feel like it, and the beginning of Christmas is a personal choice based on enthusiasm
