A lot of companies can access the kernel unfortunately.. including anti-cheat software. Hopefully this makes us rethink that!

So this is a lie, almost any application you download will be at the kernel level. Otherwise it wouldn’t be able to work properly. Any one that plays games on their computer likely has anticheats

F8 safe mode is not enabled by default in win10/11. You need to enable in the console.

windows doesnt specially give it permission, they just have a kernel mode driver (not unlike game anticheats)

I know nothing about tech, but people had the choice to update right? Like I usually put off updates for a few days before I update anything just in case.? Did everyone just update immediately?
