You get one life. Stop sitting around and find the courage to figure out exactly what you want and then put your head down, work your ass off and go get it. Last night, on a beautiful summer night in New England, my husband and I got to experience something absolutely magical - witnessing another person fulfill their dreams. Thank you Noah Kahan. Being present last night for your sold out show at Fenway Park and witnessing you so overcome with gratitude and humility was a life-changing gift to us all. And an important reminder that if you are willing to work for it - eventually it will happen. As a fellow New Englander, (and Vermonter) you made us so proud - and it was an honor to have you end your 240 stop tour by welcoming you back HOME to New England and celebrate you at Fenway Park. It was an honor to cheer for all your band members who either grew up here, or went to college here, played all the dive bars here, got drunk and had the worst nights of their lives on Landsdowne (same), waited tables at Legal Seafood to get by, played in wedding bands - while you kept chopping away at your dreams. Last year, you told your agent you’d play Fenway Park in 10 years. 400 days later, we all got to experience that dream with you. Thank you @Noah Kahan reminding us all that even when life seems gray, or the weather is shitty and your head is busy with self doubt, and you’ve been working so hard and you can’t catch a break… keep going. Keep making art. Keep working on your dreams. Keep pushing forward. Eventually the seasons will change and all that hard work you’ve been putting in while no one noticed year after year.
