I had the same thoughts with my son. He did favor the left as he got older and I just guided him to use his right. He’s 14 now and is ambidextrous but favors his right!

Out of 9 kids I have 1 that is left handed. We started to notice her really using her left hand around 1. She is 8 now and definitely left handed.
