@remi.tswjourney: Being diagnosed with eczema at the age of 10 months, it’s been a part of my life as long as I can remember. After using topical steroids for over 20 years to manage my eczema, I decided to quit at the beginning of 2022. That’s when my TSW journey began. The symptoms were severe and tested my strength and resilience like never before. It’s scary how easy it is to get prescribed corticosteroids, even for minor issues. Despite seeing countless dermatologists over the years, no one warned me about the long-term side effects. This taught me not to blindly trust every prescription and to research thoroughly before using any medication. Despite the challenges, I’ve found hope and healing along the way. My experience has inspired me to shift my career—I quit my full-time job and am now studying for a nutrition degree with the goal of becoming a dietitian.
