as an IT person I don't feel bad, there are hardware management solutions out there.. I fixed all of ours remotely through BMC/IPMI/iDRAC and iLO ..yes we stupidly mixed vendors, not my call

yep spent 16hrs doing this, walking end-users over the phone... and the lack of tech knowledge from gen Z was worse then gen x/boomers, which was a shocker.

and this is why i use network displays instead of PCs sitting behind monitors. i don’t have to climb to the monitor to perform physical repairs on it 😁
