This is the reason I started to hate working in daycare. Also parents that would drop the child off as soon as the door opened and pick them up 1 minute before close, 12 hours straight.

I had to add an hourly fee for sick kid pickup after an hour. Surprisingly it worked.

Unfortunately this has been me before 🙁 As a teacher I have to wait until they can find coverage for me so my 20 students aren’t left unsupervised. It doesn’t take an hour though…

As a parent who’s had a kid in daycare I would have picked up asap and dropped off supplies like hand sanitizer Clorox wipes, and Clorox. I mean if it wasn’t for the provider I wouldn’t be working..
