When I thought I had it I told my mum the symptoms and she said “everyone does that it’s normal” then she ended up getting diagnosed which made me get assessed and then also diagnosed. 😂

I accidentally dx’d my former coworker because I thought he already had it dx’d. “Well yeah caffeine is different for people with ADHD!” “I don’t think I have ADHD…” (3 months later, a doctor did!)

My parents took me to/sat in on my initial assessment (decades ago, I was 7). At the end, the doctor told us that I had ADHD but my dad also appeared to have ADHD🤣

My therapist told me once you get diagnosed with adhd you’ll recognize it in others very easily. But my best friend was diagnosed with it and I thought she was the most normal person in the world lol
