This exact thing happened to us 2 weeks ago except the plumber got our bidet cover out in about 2 minutes. He charged us $45.

We buy a clog cleaner from HD that the bottle comes in a bag for safety, it dissolves everything! even my kids metal hair clips, toys, you name it. Sorry I couldn't share sooner

also when you buy a new toilet wipe down the inside with mineral oil. tank and bowl . especially if you have well water.

lol we just got the cheap lowes toilet because “nobody” flushed the dog nail trimmers and they’re wedged in the p trap. Cheap toilet works great.

you could have fix it you drop a weighted string through from the bottom with a rag on it and pull the clog out the top done it many times I've had perfume bottles towel rail ends
