It should definitely expire. There are so many games that died that we wish to play and cannot. Even though we paid for them, some times even more than a single player experience that we still can.

I agree, however I think consumers are under the impression that when they purchase a live service game, that they actually own it. Similar to how games were when they were on a CD.
