When I was a little girl, I could understand Slavic languages because I went to a school w/a lot of Polish immigrants in upstate NY. I still understand the tone and a few words, but not like before.

Its because czech is the most diferent from the others due to german influence for example: we say “ano” (yes) but we can aslo say “jo” coming from the german “ja”
