Share this video with a friend & read this: I’m practicing and breaking down the technique of trail braking on the track, sharing my experience as I continue to learn. Trail braking is an advanced skill that starts with braking early while still upright, then gradually releasing the front brake as you lean into the corner. By keeping some brake pressure as I lean, I can control my speed, keep the front tire loaded, and adjust my line if needed. As I approach the apex—the point where I’m closest to the inside of the turn—I ease off the brake completely and begin to roll on the throttle, shifting weight to the rear tire for stability as I power out of the corner. While practicing, I noticed that my suspension needed adjustment, and I was able to spot it thanks to the footage I captured. If you don’t have a camera, you can put a zip tie around the fork to see if you’re bottoming out, just like I did. I’m no expert, but I’m sharing what I’m learning as I work on mastering this technique to improve my control and speed on the track. #Superbikes #moto #yamaha #superbike #bikelife #learntoride #fyp Trail braking, motorcycle, track day, cornering, suspension, MotoGP, braking technique, apex, throttle control, bike handling, front brake, motorcycle training, riding tips, motorcycle control, riding technique, motorcycle suspension, track riding, motorcycle racing, race track, corner entry, corner exit, motorcycle setup, brake pressure, bike balance, track experience, braking tips, cornering skills, motorcycle performance, riding skills, suspension adjustment, throttle response, lean angle, motorcycle stability, front fork, zip tie method, braking point, cornering lines, riding practice, motorcycle dynamics, riding experience, high performance, braking control, weight distribution, cornering speed, track day tips, bike control, motorbike, track practice.
