@hnmaex: Please be kind!!! 😊 This is me being vulnerable 🙃 Storytime: During my first freediving course (INTRO TO FREEDIVING), I struggled to equalize my ears to 2-3 meters due to my sinusitis. I pushed myself to the limit and experienced dizziness during the session. I give it another shot and bought plastic long fins and continued to practice; fortunately, I can now dive up to 7-8 metres. However, I am still having issues because I am unable to perform Frenzel Equalization. I still use the valsava maneuver and I got to the point where when I spit, there was bl**d on my mucus. This is concerning, though 🤣. Planning to see an ENT doctor and, if the results are good & positive, I am hoping to receive some training & courses in the future to help me improve my equalization so I can dive deeper. 🤞🏻🥹 To other mermaids out there who shared the same experience and condition.
