@theglachanquadsquad: Day 2 night 1 of our sleep journey with our 7 month old quadruplets done. Last night wasn’t fantastic but it also wasn’t the worst night we have had. There were multiple wakes from every baby (nothing out of the ordinary) and one of the rooms temperatures was getting low. Today @maryannesayers1 and @sleepbysteph got straight into it and started at 6:30am. The girls followed the babies tired signs and also started introducing self settling. Sean and I were lucky enough to go have a sleep at his parents thanks to the girls. The quads all had long stretches of sleep and each had a turn of self settling, which they all crushed. Tonight all bubs (accept Archie as he was back at hospital due to his breathing) were put down after their bottle to self settle to sleep. I took a back seat and just listened to the cry’s and started to get an understanding of each bubs different cry’s. Steph and Maryanne were amazing and so gentle with this approach, making it feel very comfortable. Tonight proved to trust the process because all of the bubs took themselves off to sleep 😴 Overnight goals are to maintain room temp, shorten feeding times throughout night and allow the bubs the time to resettle if the conditions are right. It’s only been 2 days but I can really see the ripple effect of sleep. There isn’t 1 tip or trick that is going to help, it’s a collective and a wholistic approach combined with education that is going to get the sleep that you need. Stay tune tomorrow for day 3 night 2 🤞🏼 #sleep #sleepdeprivation #sleepdeprived #sleeptraining #sleeping #quadruplets #multiples #multiplessleep #newparents #trusttheprocess #sleepeducation
Are they in separate rooms? Maybe they would sleep better together?

A sleep nurse once said to me that we are all too busy taking things of our children that comfort them, it kind of made sense so I decided that my daughter could have a dummy at bedtime but not during the day…eventually she just gave the dummy up of her own accord at 3 years old…she told me she wasn’t a baby anymore.
