@nobudgetbabe: The S&P500 is down 2.36% over the past 5 days. Most people panic and sell when the market dips – that's a rookie move. Smart investors know that when stocks are on sale, it's time to buy. I've been posting about this for months, but the writing seems to be on the wall. The economy's shaky, and recent gains have been propped up by just a handful of tech giants. But guess what? This is exactly the moment you should be paying attention. I'm continuing my regular investing strategy of dollar cost averaging into the market, but if I see a larger dip (think ~10%+) that's when I'll start to put more in to take advantage of the sale. I did this at the beginning of Covid when the market tanked, and I made a ton of money. I can’t tell you what the future holds, but here's a fact: Wealth is built by those who stay cool and make bold moves when others are losing their heads. So when the market takes a nosedive, don't run scared – the way to build wealth is to "be greedy when others are fearful".
