@witchesbyhelenagarcia: Oh I do love her! The Apothecary kitchen was in my mind even before we found this house. The kitchen is the most important room in the house for me and even though this room was originally the dining room I think it was worth the effort turning it into the kitchen. We had to open the chimney breast, add plumbing, remove carpets and wallpaper etc, but it was all well worth it. A lot of you have asked about the apothecary drawers at the front. They are only about 30cm deep so we built the island around them.
