Always read the book and try the problems BEFORE the lecture. Then the lecture will make more sense and you can pay attention to the areas you didn’t initially understand.

I did all my learning from practice assignments. Taking an hour or 2 to understand each part of a problem helped way more than trying to wrap my head around abstract notes

I’m an Engineering student at Uni, and I 100% agree. One half of the course is understanding the material conceptually and the Other half is practicing for the test 🙏.

Cs on the other hand… No homework just projects. Do the projects and what little time you have left prepare for the exam. And btw 90% of the stuff you did for the project won’t be on the exam.

Absolutely true. And not only saw problems, but develop your methodology and how to attack a problem. Draw diagram, write down relevant equations Whatever it takes.
