It clogs your lymphatics and then the lymphatics can’t drain fluid so it stays and causes swelling —> pillow face

I am not a medical practitioner but I managed an LA med spa/ plastic surgeon’s office up until a year ago. I only started seeing these discussions being had with patients, and even then there was still a lack of full transparency. What I can say is that my office in particular started REALLY pushing biostimulators over filler for many (but not all) areas of the face. PRF EZ Gel is the main one, and I think we are going to see a lot of this in the coming months/years. This is a much more “natural” approach since it mostly only uses blood and plasma. But then again, years ago we were told that filler was natural given that the body already produces HA. So who knows!

I got filler ONCE 2.5 years ago and i go gym regularly with a decent metabolism, and I still see it very vividly. The fact people get top up’s is INSANE to me

The body will dissolve hyrolonic acid because it exists normally in the skin, it will also dissolve Botox because the body fights it to get it out as it’s a toxin

I am an injector, I have a love hate relationship with filler. I think filler is not the future of injecting but it’s the only thing that will treat symmetry out side of surgery.
