It was at about 46 for me and I went from not needing glasses at all to needing trifocals in a couple of months time. It was ridiculous.

Yes, the eyesight thing with aging is difficult! Vuity eye drops are an amazing alternative. I see clear with them!

my bitter optometrist said I needed readers - I was like 🖕- so I wear only one contact so I can read & see both far away- your lasik doctor will suggest the same

I wear my readers as a headband now because I can't go anywhere without them. They are a staple to my look now and wardrobe. I tried contacts and it was too annoying to not see distance.

I’m 43 and it already happened. Went to annual vision check in Nov and was good and by May couldn’t read an ibuprofen bottle.

I'm near sighted so have been wearing contacts since I was 13(53 now). refused to wear readers so got multi focal contacts! you can get them without regular Rx and just multi focal for reading!
