🎄Are you short on time? Do you like to add handmade touches to your Christmas decor? Making by hand doesn’t have to be lengthy! There’s always a shortcut. Just head on over to your local garden center and buy a readymade real pine covered wreath in your preferred size. Next, it’s time grab a bucket and forage in your garden or local park for some foliage. Try and snip odd numbers of stems of each type for a better balance in your wreath. The beauty of homemade is that you can keep things as simple as you like! Feel free to be ambitious of course, but don’t feel that you have to over-complicate things. Here’s what I used, everything was from my garden: • Pineapple-Guava leaves • Japanese Skimmia • Silk Tassel • Holly berries I love the colours and textures these all bring to my wreath. I finished my wreath with a bright red velvet ribbon. I like to hang my ribbon down in the centre of my wreath. Ribbon colour and location on a wreath is personal choice- don’t be afraid to experiment a little! TIPS- 🔔 Remember to follow the direction of your wreath when adding stems for a neat cohesive finish. 🔔 Be sure to compost the contents of your wreath in January and don’t forget to save the frame for next time! #lastminute #christmasdecorations #busymomlife #busymums #quickcraft
