My sis second cat is a British shorthair too, and he just got sterilised. He’s pretty small for a 1 YO, that even the smallest cone is too big for his neck and he’ll still want to scratch the incision

don't put two cats together. it can transfer to humans too. don't let ur cat lick, remove cone only during meals. mine healed very fast overall with oral medication from the vet

hey gurlie, vet student here! Malaseb works well but it dries out their skin, so make sure you don’t leave it on for too long.

For cones, the best one is hands down from Doggyfriend, the Soft Padded E-Collar. If your cat is less flexible, you can buy the Arrr UFO Neck Collar.
