@nichole.glueck.beauty: It can be a total shock to see that your nail is green after taking your press on nails off! DON’T PANIC!!!! 😱 The reason your nail is green is because moisture was trapped under your press on nail. It’s because YOU didn’t apply or press on nails properly, guess what I’m here to help. This is a very common issue, especially with first time press on nail users. Yes, I have had green nail once when I first started my press on nail journey!! 🦠 This is what we are going to do, first you need to use alcohol or vinegar to clean the affected nail. Then you need to gently buff the nail, note you will still have some green residue depending on how deep into your nail bed it is. It will grow out and go away!! How do you prevent “greenies”? YOU need to make sure you are properly sanitizing, prepping, and applying your press on nails. You need to have a proper fit and seal so no moisture will get trapped underneath them.
