I’ve found if you train them to be medicated by substituting a desired crunchy thing in the meat/cheese when they bite into a pill it’s not a big deal bc a crunchy bit is normal.

we would put the pill in cheese for my dog and he would eat the cheese and spit the pill off. this same dog also ate a bag of hershey kisses WOTH THE FOIL ON and then pooped the foil out🙄(he was fine
