EDM is very temporary, a phase really. You grow out of it because it's so repetitive. More so than Reggaeton because reggaeton doesn't need a "a drop" to make you wait on. And strong lyrics really make or break a song and edm lyrics don't really do anything, they are the center piece of a song...the beat always is.
