yes it does really work. I was shown that by an old mechanic. I was 19 working on my ol Harley had a lil ticking noise n found it using this method.

💯💯💯 Grandpa showed me this to find out which pully on an engine is squeaking/ bad bearing. Put the screwdriver around the area. It gets louder the closer ya get.
