My tip for the suitcase space! We rolled up a large duffel bag in our checked suitcase then put all our dirty clothes in the duffel bag opening up a lot of space in our suitcase for souvenirs.

i always carry a small body of hand soap in my feminine pouch. its in a bottle like the ones for hand sanitizer. many places in the US run out of soap all the time

Not filling the cups to the top is actually pretty genius. As someone who regularly gets coffee to go, it's always annoying when the excess from overfilling spills onto the sides.

You should put a small suitcase inside a big one and put all of your traveling things inside the small suitcase so you have an extra suitcase for souv

For the soap issue I have seen brands sell soap sheets in a container thats very small (little smaller than an altoids tin) I would bring one of those!
