I spend few days alone in Turkey. I stay at nice hotel and the hotel staff told me where to go and eat I felt super safe. Ppl are nice and no one bothered me, met ppl eating alone.

I went to Turkey in 2023 as a solo female traveler as well. I was treated well by the local and I got lost walking at night, the taxi driver helped me to find my hotel

I don’t know the name of it, but there’s a Facebook group for a single women wanting to travel abroad. You basically go on there and find another gal who is willing to go with you on a trip

Just got back from a solo trip there. Had a greatttt experience. Felt safe and went out alone. Would recommend staying in a safe area and good hotel though. Sorry your experience wasn’t great babes!💕

My history teacher (male) went to Turkey with two of our other teachers (female) and they still got a lot of bad comments but felt more comfortable with him there

I often get stared or the sudden change of approach whenever I say I’m filipinli (when asked where I’m from). Then murmur something in Turkish with a grin. This happened not only once. 😕
