@chronicallypersevering: ⚠️accessible adventure alert⚠️: antelope island state park 🦬♿️🌅 It’s a new series highlighting the dreamiest accessible adventures around the world! When I travel some of my favorite spots to visit are State and National parks. Not only are they each beautiful and unique, but they generally each have at least a few accessible areas in them. Most parks have their accessible locations listed online, but if you are at the park and need help locating accessible locations, always visit the visitor center and they can help direct you (they also have secret insider bison locations). This park also is home to amazing views of the Great Salt Lake! Almost all viewpoints are able to be seen from your car as well! @chronicallymomaging and I call viewing things from the car parking lotting 😂 Although the lake itself isn’t accessible, they have a viewing platform that is along with a few other accessible or paved viewing areas. Even at the locations that aren’t accessible, there is generally hard packed dirt, making it possible for me personally to explore most spots. Did you know Antelope Island State Park doesn’t actually have any Antelope?? They are home to a bunch of bison, pronghorn, big horn sheep, tons of birds, and other fun critters. Promise me one thing, if you are at the park you will stay for the entire sunset into twilight. It’s such a magical experience. I honestly couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. This once in a lifetime experience is a can’t miss accessible opportunity if you ask me!
