I only hate gym bags when people leave them in walk ways and between machines where people need to walk between when busy. Keep it out of the way & my gym won't enforce the rule, don't and they will.

my gym does it because there is too much equipment and people will trip over each others bags. they don’t really enforce it though. it’s where ed coan used to train lol.
