While you are right, it’s much easier disputing a claim on a credit card then a debit card and it’s not my money I have to worry about getting back and it doesn’t compromise my entire account

Yeah- I will stick to my Amex that I use like a debit card and pay off several times a month and earn rewards for paying my everyday bills, utilities, groceries, gas, etc

I love people being debt free and having no debt. There is a caviot the the debit cards, and that’s for businesses. A business debit card has different rules compared to the credit card with fraud

Except when it’s fraud, they take my money, not my credit card company’s money. And the Visa/MC protection only applies to transactions on the Visa/MC network, which is not all debit card transactions
