@dailymailuk: The BBC has released the list of its top-paid staff for the last year. Huw Edwards was the third highest-paid last year despite only being on air for three months following a scandal. Match of the Day host Gary Lineker once again topped the list, with Radio 2 breakfast host Zoe Ball behind him in number 2. Each celebrity is placed into a ‘band’ of pay and numbers mentioned reflect the top of that band. Not all of the BBC's highest-earners appear in the report, with stars employed through production companies or BBC Studios exempt in order to maintain a level playing field on the commercial market.
