⚠️How to shoot in the 60’s ⬇️ 1. First off you need to have an immense amount of patience. I have met quite a few people who came into my academy who wanted to shoot in the 70’s or 60’s within the first couple years of playing. It’s really not realistic! But I love a dreamer. You look at a player like Larry Nelson… he made the PGA Tour just 5 years into playing - he did have unlimited money and time to play but he did it. 2. You NEED to hire a swing coach who can answer three simple questions: -How do I neutralize my club path -How do I neutralize my face angle -How do I optimize attack angle These are 3 key questions I answer for every golfer I work with @thegolfersacademy. Beyond that we look towards detailed numbers like swing plane, chs, low point… 3. YOU NEED TO PLAY. I went from shooting in the 100’s to low 70’s as a junior within 4 years because I played almost everyday I could. I took a few key lessons and played constantly. I played at my level starting from the forward tees and moving back. 4. Practice the hell out of your short game. I’m talking making it a grind. Spend a stupid amount of time at the short game area trying to learn how to lag put, get up and down from everywhere, and become elite inside 10 feet. 5. Understand that process matters way more than results. Invest your money and time in as much Bob Rotella literature as you can to sharpen your mind. It will make a difference! ⭐️And the secret sauce is to believe in yourself.
