@carmenelena.bon: Today I'm using the The Philips Epilator Series 8000 by @Philips Home Living PH to get summer ready, right in time for those short shorts. This is the first time I use an electrical epilator and I wasn't sure what to expect. Before we begin, here are some great tips to follow to get the best results. Tips: ✨ Exfoliate: this will help unclog pores and keep unwanted ingrown hairs at a minimum in between sessions ✨ Pre-trim: Longer hairs longer than 3mm ✨ Epilate in warm water (this will help loosen the hair...it's also less painful in the shower) ✨ Go against the hair when epilating: this will grab the hair and pull it out ✨ Attach the optimal contact cap to stretch the skin perfect for larger areas like the legs ✨ Apply cold compress to soothe your skin ✨ Don't forget to clean your machine after every use. I spray alcohol on the epilator head to disinfect Here's what I thought of it: This isn't completely pain free, there is a bit of a sting but it was expected as the hair is being pulled out. I think it is less painful than tweezers and it is quick and easy!! I did try it under my arms and it was a bit more painful than the legs. But, I do have thick coarse hair in my underarms which is why I prefer using the epilator even if it is a bit more painful. I applied the cold compresses afterwards and it helped immensely. I love that it comes with a shaving head & trimming comb so if I ever want to shave instead I can. I also love that it comes with a trimmer head & comb for my bikini area. This is going to be the only tool I use/need to remove my hair and I love it. I love how smooth my legs feel and they look better than when I shave. I'm personally a very hairy person 🙈 and my hair grows back so rapidly so I'm very excited about being hair free for a longer period of time. I personally love it and will be using it. *This item was gifted to me by @philips and @Butterly in exchange for my honest review
