I agree, narcissist word is used too much nowadays and every selfish person is "narcissist". It's possible but not every of them are. They can even have ASPD. Who knows.

It's an unfortunate trend to call someone narcissistic who doesn't agree with you in all aspects. Same with trauma. Overusing these words make the real conditions less important.

Narcissists can also act kind, thoughtful and selfless simply because they use those traits to make them more favorable, avoid criticism, gain praise or all of the above. You can tell the difference..

I had the misfortune of living with someone who has NPD for a year. These people are rotten to the core and destroy everything they touch. It's so much worse than selfishness.

No. Me "diagnosing" someone with NPD in 6 minutes if they are showing obvious traits doesn't diminish or change anyone else's experience. What kind of guilt tripping are you trying to do here, doc?
