@bratbustersparenting: When you say leadership skills, what do you mean? You deal with bad behaviour, but you focus on the good in your kid. It's about connecting with kids, making them feel good about themselves. You deal with bad behaviour, there’s a consequence, but then you move on right away, right back to I don't let bad behavior go, but don't focus on it and try to talk about it after it’s dealt with. There's no point whatsoever. Once you've dealt with it, let it go. Your goal as a leader is to make your kids like themselves, have pride in themselves, and have high self-esteem. When you're the source of them liking themselves and having all that, they treat you like gold, and they would never talk back. Not sure where to start in your calm leadership journey?
