@mynameisjessamyn: There is not a black woman alive who did not and does not have to come up on her/his/their own- it doesnt matter how much money you have or where you’re from or how many paper bag tests you could pass or how long and straight your wig is or anything else that makes it seem like the playing field is even. The system is stacked against us, racism is real, and as a result we have had to learn to survive in ways that people who occupy the majority will never understand. So yes, I am much more inclined to give my donation dollars to someone who has had to survive the every day injustices that come with being black in the united states as opposed to someone who will literally argue with you about whether or not those injustices exist. #election #madampresident
