Theres not 4000 species theres 2 species and one of them is just a total of 4000 extremely venomous golden lancehead pitvipers. those snakes only live on that island and theyre a protected species

Snakes don’t eat every day or week but wat kind of food can they find when there are snakes every meter? Birds and insects maybe. Not many mows can survive there I think.
